Die Entwicklung von Android 11 war bisher stabil, aber die OEMs arbeiten immer noch unermüdlich daran, ihren berechtigten Geräten so schnell wie möglich das neueste Betriebssystem-Update zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Es gibt jedoch Geräte, die das neueste Betriebssystem-Update nicht offiziell erhalten, nur weil die jeweiligen OEMs die Unterstützung für Software-Updates eingestellt haben.

Xiaomi Mi A2, Pocophone F1 (in Indien auch als Poco F1 bekannt) und Nokia 6.1 Plus gehören zu den vielen Geräten, die möglicherweise nicht auf Android 11 aktualisiert werden. Zumindest nicht offiziell.

Benutzerdefinierte ROMs wie Potato Open Sauce Project (POSP) und ReloadedOS bieten jedoch bereits Unterstützung für Android 11, wenn auch inoffiziell.

Ältere XDA-Entwickler, kenny3fcb , Raghu varma und raj_jdja hat das auf Android 11 basierende POSP entwickelt Benutzerdefinierte ROMs für eine Reihe von Geräten.

Die Mi A2 erhält das inoffizielle benutzerdefinierte POSP-ROM (Android 11) von kenny3fcb, aber das ROM befindet sich noch in der Testphase, was bedeutet, dass es möglicherweise voller Fehler ist.

Raghu varma hat den Benutzerdefiniertes POSP (Android 11)-POS für Nokia 6.1 Plus mit Version 11.0.0_r3 und bringt auch den September-Sicherheitspatch mit.
