Az eredeti történet (megjelent: április 20-án) a következő:
A Motorola már több eszközét frissítette Android 10-re. A figyelem most a Google következő nagy operációs rendszerére – az Android 11 frissítésére – irányul. A Big G már dolgozik az előzetes verzión a nyilvános béta megjelenése előtt, valószínűleg 2020 májusában.
Bár a Motorola már nem tartozik a legjobbak közé az időszerű szoftverfrissítések rendszeres bevezetése terén, mindkettő Az Android operációs rendszer kisebb-nagyobb frissítései miatt a Lenovo tulajdonában lévő vállalat hirtelen nem a legrosszabb a szakmában.
A jobbik oldalon a vállalat továbbra is törekszik arra, hogy lehetőség szerint szoftverfrissítéseket biztosítson az eszköztulajdonosoknak. Az alábbiakban pedig azon eszközök nem hivatalos listája található, amelyekről úgy gondoljuk, hogy megkapják a hivatalos Motorola Android 11 frissítést.
A Motorola Moto G Stylus jogosult az Android 11 frissítésére
A Motorola Android 11 frissítésére jogosult eszközök
A Motorola köztudottan legalább két fő operációs rendszer frissítés a legtöbb eszközön, különösen a zászlóshajó Moto Z termékcsaládon. Egyes Motorola készülékek azonban alig kapnak operációs rendszerfrissítést, inkább a belépő szintű Moto E családba tartozókra.
További Motorola-eszközök, amelyek garantáltan legalább két Android operációs rendszer frissítést kapnak, a Google Android One programjába tartoznak. Érdemes azonban megjegyezni, hogy nem minden Motorola One eszköz része az Android One programnak.
Ha ez kimarad, az alábbiakban felsoroljuk azokat a Motorola eszközöket, amelyekről úgy gondoljuk, hogy fontolóra veszik az Android 11 frissítését, amikor eljön az idő.

A Moto Android 11 frissítés megjelenési dátuma [várható]
Senki sem tudja, hogy a Google mikor véglegesíti az Android 11 stabil verzióját. De ha mi tekintse meg a közelmúlt történelmét, a Pixel 4-et és társait. 2020 harmadik negyedévében kell megkapnia.

7. frissítés (december 02.)
IST 17:00: Úgy tűnik, a Motorola új asztali mód funkciót fog hozni bizonyos telefonokhoz Android rendszerrel 11 frissítés. Az élmény némileg hasonló lesz a Samsung Dex módjához, ahol a felhasználók átméretezhetik az ablakokat, és több alkalmazást futtathatnak egymás mellett.

This means only a handful of users will get the update to make sure there are no major bugs and issues before the update is sent off to thousands of users.
The update bears the version number RPI31.Q2-42-1 and weighs 1.37GB. It also brings the December 2021 security patch which is a bonus.

12:34 pm (IST): The software update period for Moto Z4 is reportedly ended, with the last security patch dated September 2021. This means that the device won’t receive any official software updates including the Android 11.
While the Moto Z4 users won’t get Android 11 update from the company side, they can always opt for an unofficial ROM. The interested users can install the unofficial Android 11 custom ROM (LineagOS 18.1).

04:29 pm (IST): Responding to a user’s query regarding Motorola One Fusion+ Android 11 update, Motorola Brasil confirms that the devices will receive the Android 11 update but currently it’s pending partner approval.

06:12 pm (IST): An Admin on the Motorola community said that the Android 11 update process for Motorola 5G Ace has been delayed due to issues discovered with a couple of carriers.
Moreover, they are working on resolving those issues and testing a new build as soon as possible. However, they did not provide any ETA as to when exactly the process will be completed.

06:02 pm (IST): According to the Tweet from Lenovo Legion UKI, the Android 11 update for Motorola One Fusion+ is in the final stage of testing. This means that it is expected to release soon.

06:01 pm (IST): While Google has released Android 13 to developers, Motorola is still struggling to release the Android 11 update for some of its devices.
And yet, a Senior Moto Agent on the community forum, in response to Moto One 5G Ace users, said that they will try to roll out the update as soon as possible. And still, there is no ETA available.

11:17 am (IST): A Senior MotoAgent on the community forum has confirmed that Motorola Defy will receive Android 11 update. This comes as a surprise since there was no information of its Android 11 eligibility prior to this.

06:26 pm (IST): The Android 11 update for Moto One 5G UW Ace is not yet released if we go by the official software update page of the device. But according to Verizon Support on Twitter, the update is available.
