Permintaan penuh DC untuk bulan Juni 2023 telah tiba, dan panasnya musim panas berarti’Dawn of DC’, inisiatif berkelanjutan penerbit untuk menyegarkan lini komik pahlawan supernya dengan judul baru dan konsep baru juga memanas.
Awal bulan Maret, DC mengumumkan sejumlah judul baru yang diluncurkan sebagai bagian dari’Dawn of DC.’Pertama, ada Steelworks, judul baru yang menampilkan sekutu Superman John Henry Irons, AKA Steel, dan keponakan serta penggantinya dalam peran Natasha Irons. Judulnya ditulis oleh aktor Star Trek tercinta Michael Dorn, yang juga mengisi suara Steel di Superman: The Animated Series tahun 90-an, dengan karya seni dari Sami Basri.
Kemudian, dua judul DC klasik yang sudah berjalan lama akan hadir berakhir pada bulan Juni untuk diluncurkan kembali akhir tahun ini. Flash akan diakhiri dengan #800 berukuran besar di bulan Juni, yang menghadirkan beberapa penulis Flash klasik termasuk Geoff Johns, Joshua Williamson, Jeremy Adams, dan Mark Waid. Flash kemudian akan diluncurkan kembali pada bulan September dengan tim kreatif baru yang terdiri dari penulis Si Spurrier dan artis Mike Deodato Jr.
Demikian pula, Wonder Woman #800 akan mengakhiri volume judul saat ini dengan edisi penutup yang terlalu besar. Judul tersebut kemudian akan diluncurkan kembali pada bulan September bersama The Flash, dengan tim kreatif penulis Tom King dan artis Daniel Sampere.
Juni juga menandai Bulan Pride, yang dirayakan DC dengan one-shot DC Pride 2023 yang menampilkan cerita Multiversity yang ditulis oleh Grant Morrison. Ada juga tampilan ensiklopedis baru pada pahlawan queer DC berjudul The Book of DC Pride, dan kumpulan beberapa cerita klasik yang menampilkan karakter queer.
