2019 was an interesting year for the smartphone industry as OEMs were experimenting with various ways of delivering a full display while still retaining the front-facing camera.

One of the first devices to incorporate a motorized pop-up selfie camera during the said period was the Oppo F11 Pro. An impressive fete at the time.

Like many devices at the time, the Oppo F11 Pro came with Android 9 Pie out of the box, only this one was skinned with Oppo’s own ColorOS 6.

Last year, we saw the device bag the update to Android 10-based ColorOS 7 along with its lesser sibling, the Oppo F11 and the A9.

Being an F-series device, the Oppo F11 Pro is eligible for one more update, to Oppo’s ColorOS 11 that is based on Android 11.
