Originele verhaal (gepubliceerd op 10 juli 2020) volgt:
Realme is momenteel een van de snelstgroeiende technologiebedrijven ter wereld. Met slechts een paar jaar in het bedrijfsleven, doet het bedrijf wat sommige grote technologiebedrijven zoals LG vaak niet hebben bereikt, ondanks jarenlange ervaring in de smartphonebranche.
Tijdige software-updates zijn ongehoord op LG’s kleine smartphone-eiland. Maar dat is niet waar met Realme-telefoons. Misschien zijn het de nauwe banden met OPPO, dat jarenlange ervaring heeft met het maken van smartphones maar met een nauwelijks gedecoreerde software-updategeschiedenis (beleid).
Of misschien is het pure toewijding van het Realme-team om ervoor te zorgen dat apparaateigenaren over de nieuwste software-update beschikken. Voor nu houden we vast aan de laatste koers en hopen we dat Realme niet zelfgenoegzaam wordt, net zoals het al gebeurt met de Android 11-update.
Het bedrijf onthulde in maart 2020 dat de ontwikkeling van Realme UI 2.0 al aan de gang was. Niet lang daarna was de Realme 2 Pro uitgesloten van strijd voor de grote update, die Android 11 ook naar meerdere apparaten zal brengen.
In mei 2020, rekrutering voor Realme UI 2.0 beta officieel gestart. En in juni liet Realme de bom vallen, bevestigend dat de bètaversie van Android 11 in juli klaar zal zijn voor Realme X50 Pro-eenheden.
In overeenstemming met zijn woord heeft Realme de eerste bètaversie van Android 11 uitgebracht voor early adopters die de Realme X50 Pro bezitten. Maar dat is niet het enige apparaat dat wordt bijgewerkt naar Realme UI 2.0. We hebben een potentiële lijst hier.
Voor dit moment zijn dit echter de Realme-smartphones die de bèta-of stabiele update naar Android 11 (Realme UI 2.0) hebben opgepikt.

Update 1 (27 augustus)
Terwijl de officiële release van Android 11 sneller nadert, zijn alle OEM’s, waaronder Realme, bezig met het ontwikkelen van hun eigen aangepaste skins op basis van Android 11. Realme heeft onlangs een vraag-en-antwoordsessie geopend over hun nieuwe Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) aanpassingsopties, stock Android-apps, Super nighttime standby-functie en meer. Update 2 (2 september)
IST: 11:52 am: De klok tikt en Android 11 is niet ver verwijderd van de officiële release. Alle OEM’s, inclusief Realme, zijn bezig met het ontwikkelen van hun eigen skin van de aankomende Android-versie.

IST: 14:46 uur: CEO van Realme — Madhav Sheth — ging naar Twitter om fans te plagen met een afbeelding van de Realme X50 Pro op Android 11 naast de aankomende Realme UI 2.0-skin. Hoofd hier voor de teaser en meer details.
Update 4 (09 september)
IST: 10:22 uur: Google heeft officieel kondigde de release van Android 11 aan voor het publiek. Het heeft ook verklaard dat Android 11 ook zal worden uitgebracht voor bepaalde Realme-apparaten onder apparaten van een paar andere OEM’s.
Android 11 wordt vandaag uitgerold op bepaalde Pixel-, OnePlus-, Xiaomi-, OPPO-en realme-telefoons, en in de komende maanden zullen meer partners apparaten lanceren en upgraden

IST 12:34 pm: in antwoord op de vraag van een gebruiker over de beschikbaarheid van Android 11, heeft een Realme-mod gesuggereerd dat de openbare bèta voor Android 11 binnenkort zou moeten verschijnen. Momenteel is Android 11 voor bepaalde Realme-apparaten beschikbaar via het Closed Beta-programma.

IST 05:52 pm: In een nieuw bericht op Twitter heeft de CEO van Realme, Madhav Sheth, beweerd dat de Realme UI 2.0-updatefuncties zijn gecategoriseerd op basis van creativiteit, gezelligheid en productiviteit. IST 13.40 uur: tijdens het lanceringsevenement van de Realme Narzo 20-serie deelde Realme een Early Access-tijdlijn voor Android 11 voor verschillende in aanmerking komende apparaten. Update 11 (24 september)
IST 10:09 am: Het lijkt erop dat Realme Pseudo Base Station Blocking-ondersteuning opnieuw heeft geïntroduceerd met de release van Realme UI 2.0. Deze functie wordt vermeld op de Realme Narzo 20-pagina en stelt dat het frauduleuze berichten en advertenties zal voorkomen. Meer details hier.
IST 12:38 pm: Realme heeft eindelijk de gedetailleerde Early Access-roadmap voor Realme UI 2.0 vrijgegeven. Op basis van de roadmap zal de Realme X50 Pro het eerste apparaat zijn dat de update krijgt en de Realme 7 Pro en Narzo 20 zijn de volgende in de rij. Meer details hier.

IST 16:59 uur: een nieuwe rapport suggereert dat Realme UI 2.0 in oktober in China wordt gelanceerd. Verder is Realme van plan een gloednieuw apparaat samen met de nieuwste skin in het land te lanceren. IST 12:13 pm: Realme heeft officieel heeft het rollback-pakket uitgebracht van Android 11 (Realme UI 2.0) naar Android 10 (Realme UI 1.0) voor de Realme X50 Pro 5G in China. Houd er rekening mee dat deze alleen beschikbaar is voor de Realme X50 Pro en niet voor de speciale Player-editie.

IST 16:30 uur: een nieuwe rapport (in het Chinees) suggereert dat Realme is begonnen met interne bèta-werving voor het testen van Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11). Gebruikers met de Realme X50 Pro, Realme X7 Pro en Realme X2 Pro kunnen deelnemen.

IST 19:05 uur: Realme heeft nu deelde zijn Realme UI 2.0 Early Access-tijdlijn voor zijn apparaten die in China worden verkocht. Volgens de tijdlijn hebben de Realme X50 Pro en Realme X50 Pro de Early Access-update in september ingepakt.
De volgende in de rij is de Realme X7 Pro, die naar verwachting de update in november zal krijgen. Realme Q2 Pro, Realme X7 en Realme X2 Pro krijgen het in december. En in januari krijgen de Realme Q2, Realme V5, Realme X2 en Realme X50/X50m het.

IST 11:25 uur: Realme heeft het Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Early Access-programma gelanceerd voor het Realme X2 Pro in China. Er is een gebruikersquotum van 200 en gebruikers kunnen zich tot 6 december aanmelden voor het programma.

IST 16:40 uur: Realme’s India Support-team op Twitter heeft enig licht geworpen op wanneer bepaalde smartphones het Early Access-programma zullen krijgen.
Voor de Realme Narzo 20 Pro en Realme 7, het begint aan het einde van December en wat betreft de Realme 6, het zal begin januari. Verder heeft het bedrijf ook verklaard dat de stabiele Android 11-update voor de Realme 7 Pro komt binnenkort.

IST 12:05 pm: Realme X7 5G users in China can now sign up for the Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) early adopter version. Users have till January 7, 2021 to register and the early access version will be rolled out in two batches with a quota of 1500 users per batch.

IST 04:45 pm: A new Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 is out for Realme 7 Pro as version C.11. The offers a lot of bug fixes and some new feature to the device in question.

IST 03:37 pm: Realme UI 2.0 early access registration is now open for users of Realme Q2 Pro 5G in China. Registration is open till January 8, 2021 with a quota of 1500 users for two batches each.
The first batch is expected to get the early access version from December 29 and the second batch rollout date is yet to be announced by the OEM. Interested users can use this link to sign up for the early access program.
