New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 29, 2020) follows:

OnePlus 8T is the latest entry in the OEM’s 2020 flagship devices which came out pretty recently with OxygenOS 11 out-of-the-box.

However, users of the OnePlus 8T have been facing several issues already while fixes are still awaited. More on that here.

OnePlus has since rolled out the first OxygenOS 11.0.1.2 update to the 8T, tagging along plenty of bug fixes, optimizations and even some new stuff to spice things up.

Now, the OEM might have fixed even more of the existing issues as another incremental OxygenOS 11 update is rolling out to OnePlus 8T.

The OxygenOS update version 11.0.2.3 brings along a lot of optimizations and bug fixes, however, it is unclear if all existing bugs and issues have been addressed in this update.

The latest OnePlus 8T update offers optimizations for reducing heat generation and system power consumption, Bluetooth connection, and intelligent 5G function.

Apart from that, there are a bunch of fixes for issues like abnormal photo previews in Gallery and missing desktop icons.

While the latest OnePlus 8T update does offer a lot of improvements, the OEM has not clearly addressed previous user concerns.

Multiple OnePlus 8T users reported issues with the under-display fingerprint sensor, device lock, OnePlus Account, and the camera portrait mode.

But since OnePlus is constantly refining its OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) software for OnePlus 8T, we expect that these bugs will be addressed in future updates.

Speaking of the future, we will constantly update this article (and table below) whenever OnePlus 8T bags a new software update, be it a security patch, feature drop, bug-fixing update or even a new Android OS update.
