Sự phát triển của Android 11 cho đến nay vẫn ổn định nhưng các OEM vẫn đang làm việc không mệt mỏi để cung cấp bản cập nhật hệ điều hành mới nhất cho các thiết bị đủ điều kiện của họ càng sớm càng tốt.

Tuy nhiên, có những thiết bị sẽ không chính thức nhận được bản cập nhật hệ điều hành mới nhất chỉ vì các OEM tương ứng đã bỏ hỗ trợ cập nhật phần mềm.

Xiaomi Mi A2, Pocophone F1 (còn được gọi là Poco F1 ở Ấn Độ) và Nokia 6.1 Plus nằm trong số nhiều thiết bị có thể không được nâng cấp lên Android 11. Ít nhất là không chính thức.

Tuy nhiên, các ROM tùy chỉnh như Potato Open Sauce Project (POSP) và ReloadedOS đã cung cấp hỗ trợ Android 11 mặc dù không chính thức.

Thành viên cấp cao của Nhà phát triển XDA, kenny3fcb , Raghu varma và raj_jdja , đã phát triển POSP dựa trên Android 11 ROM tùy chỉnh cho nhiều thiết bị.

Mi A2 nhận được ROM tùy chỉnh POSP (Android 11) không chính thức từ kenny3fcb nhưng ROM vẫn đang trong giai đoạn thử nghiệm, có nghĩa là nó có thể đầy lỗi.

Raghu varma đã phát triển Nokia 6.1 Plus POSP (Android 11) ROM tùy chỉnh với phiên bản 11.0.0_r3 và nó cũng mang theo bản vá bảo mật tháng 9.

OnePlus 6 nhận ROM tùy chỉnh POSP dựa trên Android 11 từ raj_jdja nhưng có một số lỗi mà nhà phát triển đã liệt kê cụ thể.

Ngoài ra, thành viên được công nhận của XDA Developers, riteshsaxena, đã đưa ROM tùy chỉnh ReloadedOS dựa trên Android 11 vào Poco F1.

Mặc dù các ROM tùy chỉnh này vẫn đang trong giai đoạn phát triển ban đầu, nhưng thật tốt khi thấy rằng các nhà sửa đổi và nhà phát triển đã và đang nỗ lực cung cấp hỗ trợ Android 11 cho các thiết bị cũ hơn.
